Fuerteventura has a good taxi service, an extensive bus network, and you can take coach excursions around the island. But renting a car in Fuerteventura gives you freedom and convenience, allowing you to visit all the sights you want, including hidden gems that are off the beaten track. There are a variety of parking zones in Fuerteventura. Blue zones may be used by any vehicle for a small fee, while green zones are reserved exclusively for residents of the island.
