1. Walk the Route of the Hanging Bridges: Start the day with this spectacular route, one of the most iconic activities in Chulilla. This trail crosses the Turia Canyon, crossing two suspension bridges that offer breathtaking views. It is an unforgettable experience for lovers of hiking and photography. Take advantage of the first few days of the year when the temperature is cooler and there are fewer visitors. Estimated duration is 2.5 to 3 hours.  

2. Explore Charco Azul: After the morning's effort, relax with a leisurely stroll to this natural spot. This small reservoir surrounded by rock walls offers a dreamlike landscape, perfect for resting by the water and enjoying a more peaceful environment.  

3. Enjoy the local gastronomy: Take a break to enjoy the traditional cuisine of Chulilla in one of the restaurants in the old town. Try dishes such as ajoarriero, olla churra or arroz al horno, and accompany your meal with local products such as local wines or homemade sweets, to complete an authentic culinary experience.  

4. Stroll through the old town: Stroll through the narrow streets of Chulilla, with its whitewashed houses and peaceful atmosphere. Don't miss the parish church and the small squares full of charm. Discover traditional fountains such as the Fuente del Lavadero and enjoy viewpoints with spectacular views of the valley and the river Turia, which make this walk a unique experience.  

5. Climb the Chulilla Castle: Conclude the day exploring the Castle, an Islamic fortress steeped in history and witness to numerous battles over the centuries. Perched atop a hill, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the old town, the Turia River and the spectacular surrounding countryside, especially magical at sunset.  

Access to the castle is by foot only, as it is not accessible by car. From the old town, the streets are well signposted and lead to the entrance. The climb, which takes about 15-20 minutes, is moderately steep and has cobblestone sections, so comfortable shoes are recommended.  

Where to park  

Hanging Bridges Route: There is a car park set up near the start of the trail. Arrive early, especially at weekends.  

Charco Azul: There is a parking area near the access to the path leading to the reservoir.  

Old Town and Castle: Look for parking in the streets near the town centre.
